Displays of cosmic ray events as seen in the CMS detector in March 2022
These are displays of cosmic ray event seen as part of commissioning of the CMS detector in March 2022 during CRAFT: Cosmic Run at Four Tesla. Here cosmic ray muons produced in the atmosphere penetrate 100 m underground and are detected by the muon systems and tracker.
