Sumario: | The standard model (SM) of particle physics has been extremely successful at explaining a wide variety of phenomena but it cannot be the final theory of nature. Supersymmetry (SUSY) is an extension to the SM that can resolve many of its shortcomings. In particular, SUSY can explain the origin of dark matter, resolve the SM gauge hierarchy problem, and lead to the unification of gauge couplings. This note presents a variety of recent SUSY searches and combinations by the CMS and ATLAS experiments, which place stringent constraints on SUSY models |
