Sumario: | Ten years after the announcement of the Higgs boson discovery by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations at the CERN LHC, the paradigm has definitely changed from searching for a new resonance to performing precision measurements of its properties. In fact, thanks to the large amount of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS and CMS experiments in the LHC Run 2, we can now perform precise differential measurements of the Higgs boson production cross section in several decay channels and for all the main production mechanisms. This review summarizes the recent results of the two collaborations focusing on fiducial and differential cross section measurements, as well as measurements in the Simplified Template Cross Section framework. |
