Water Cherenkov Test Experiment Status Report (2022)

The Water Cherenkov Test Experiment (WCTE) is a planned 50-ton water Cherenkov detector to operate in the CERN T9 beam line. Here we report on developments of the WCTE from June 2021-June 2022. The reported updates include changes to the detector dimensions to accommodate detector transport, studies of the low momentum particle fluxes in the T9 beam line, progress on detector components, and updates to the WCTE schedule.
