Sumario:The report provides the key parameters for a compact medical synchrotron for carbon and other ions. The use of superconducting magnets allows reducing the dimensions of the synchrotron by a factor 2-3 with respect to a warm magnet design. The foreseen intensity is a factor 10 higher than what presently stored and accelerated today in the European medical center.
