Special attention is given to the Beam Loss Monitoring system and its System Sanity Checks which was the highest contribution to the BI downtime in 2017. Finally, actions taken to remedy the situation as well as ongoing reliability analysis and upgrade efforts to improve the overall performance in the future are discussed.
