First collisions at 13.6 TeV seen in the ATLAS detector during Run 3
First proton-proton collisions in the ATLAS detector, with a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV, are being registered in the ATLAS control room at the start of Run 3 of the LHC. The LHC Run 3 comes just after the long shutdown 2 (LS2) of the accelerator.
