Sumario:One of the biggest challenges for radiation monitoring at CERN is the presence of highly pulsed fields, in addition to quasi static ones. In order to have a ubiquitous monitoring system, one must be able to accurately detect currents from the tens of femto- to the hundreds of micro-amperes, as well as highly pulsed currents up to 500𝑛𝐶. The aim of the master thesis is to improve the current, ASIC-based electronic front-end (ACCURATE) in the pulsed regime without modifying its internal design, nor affecting significantly the quasi static regime’s performance.
