Sumario:In this thesis, the scattering of two like-charge W-bosons with the final state $l^{\pm} \nu l^{\pm} \nu j j$ is studied for proton-proton collisions at $8 \mathrm{TeV}$ and $13 \mathrm{TeV}$ centre-of-mass energy. For this purpose kinematic distributions are compared, using events generated with different Monte Carlo event generators. No qualitative changes between the shapes of the kinematic distributions of the $W^{\pm} W^{\pm}$scattering signal process at $8 \mathrm{TeV}$ and $13 \mathrm{TeV}$ are observed. For a more detailed comparison, the ratios between signal and background processes are studied. These ratios do not show a consistent behavior for $8 \mathrm{TeV}$ and $13 \mathrm{TeV}$ centre-of-mass energy. Thus, significances in dependence of the kinematic distributions are determined in order to optimize the selection cuts defining the fiducial phase space at $13 \mathrm{TeV}$. As a result, changes of the cuts for the invariant mass of the jets, the lepton centrality and the rapidity between the jets are recommended.
