Sumario:The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) is in the upgrading the Large Hadron Collider within the High Luminosity LHC project. One of the upgraded elements is the CMS experiment. It is one of the four detectors located at the Large Hadron Collider. The project of the master's thesis focused on one part of the CMS experiment - the Endcap Calorimeter. It will be replaced with a completely new element, namely High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL), based i.a. on silicon sensors as active material in high radiation regions. As part of the diploma thesis, the electrical characterisation and radiation tolerance qualification of the silicon sensors were performed.
