Sumario: | This paper investigates the effects of Micropore Optics (MPOs) X-ray detected by MALTA. In this research, Photonis micro-Xray source was used. This X-ray source was set to have maximum X-ray photon energy of 12 KeV. Experiments have been done to determine the effects of source-detector distance and MPO-source distance to the X-ray beam. The MPOs affected the hits detected by MALTA and also the divergence of the photons. A single MPO can decrease the number of hits by a factor of 10$^{1}$. The divergence of the photons are analyzed by computing the standard deviation and divergence angle. Furthermore, three set-ups were also evaluated to determine which is the most effective in focusing X-ray photons. |
