Sumario: | AppLE.py is a Python-based program that generates a graphic user-interface for use of the Methodical Accelerator Design 10 (MADX) system. This application can be used to easily visualize and simulate many components of an accelerator beamline and make modifications as needed. The aim of this project was to add additional modifications to AppLE.py, including a conversion between current sent to a magnet along the beamline and the resultant integrated magnetic field as well as the inverse operation, and the output of both this data and the general-purpose data for every magnet along the beamline to a text file. Both modifications have been made and users can now quickly export magnet information for an entire beamline as well as the magnet current, magnetic field, deflection angle, and K value. |
