Sumario:More than 120 million top quark pairs have been produced in CMS during the second data taking period at the Large Hadron Collider. CMS provides opportunities to precisely measure the inclusive and differential cross sections of various top quark processes as well as the top quark properties, and to search for rare processes and decays, which are promising windows for physics beyond the standard model. In these proceedings, highlights of the most recent results are presented.
