description In this project, there is consideration of applying the convolutional neural networks, which is a class of Artificial Neural Networks under Deep Learning to data derived from the Large Hardon Collider in order to develop a model which classifies electron and photon electromagnetic showers as accurately as possible based on the detector’s images provided in the dataset. Also, the evaluation of the model will be based on the Receiver Operating Characteristic curve (ROC) and Area Under the ROC Curve score. Moreover, the Keras framework, a library, helps develop deep models used in python.
