Sumario:The ALPHA experiment studies the properties of anti-hydrogen to search for differences between matter and anti-matter. This project has focused on developing a new detection method using an MCP-SiPM setup to count individual anti-protons. The efficiency of this method to count anti-protons was determined to $93 \pm 4$ %. Using this calibration, the number of anti-protons was determined in various parts of the ALPHA experiment, allowing an estimation of the anti-proton loss in ALPHA-g to be about 53 %.
