description In this project, previous cell reweighting calculations were reproduced for Monte Carlo simulations of final-state photons in the Electromagnetic Calorimeter of the ATLAS detector of the LHC. In addition, new calculations were made for new ntuples produced with Athena release 22 and the results were compared with the previous ones all corresponding to RUN 2 data. The objective of applying this method is to obtain a better correlation for the Shower Shape variables between the Monte Carlo simulations and the full RUN 2 data. Comparative plots were obtained between the data, Monte Carlo simulations without re-weighting, Monte Carlo simulations applying the re-weighting method, and the other method used to generate these corrections called Fudge Factors method.
