Construction and testing of high voltage, ultra-fast probe for PCB testing

The goal of my project as a summer student at CERN was to participate in the design, construction, measurement, and adjusting attenuation of a high voltage, ultra-fast probe. A vector network analyzer was used to characterize the probe's frequency response. In this report, the process of constructing a probe, and a quick introduction to vector network analyzer measurements are presented. At the end of the report, one can find a compilation of measurement results.
