Heavy flavour production in $pp$ collisions at LHCb
These proceedings summarise the recent heavy flavour production measurements in proton-proton ($pp$) collisions at the LHCb experiment. The production cross-sections of $J/\psi$ mesons are measured at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=5$ TeV. The ratio of the $B_s^0$ and $B^0$ fragmentation fract...

Sumario: | These proceedings summarise the recent heavy flavour production measurements in proton-proton ($pp$) collisions at the LHCb experiment. The production cross-sections of $J/\psi$ mesons are measured at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=5$ TeV. The ratio of the $B_s^0$ and $B^0$ fragmentation fractions, $f_s/f_d$, is obtained from the combined analysis of different $B$-decay channels measured by the LHCb experiment. The asymmetry between $\Lambda_b^0$ and $\bar{\Lambda}_b^0$ baryon production rates is measured at $\sqrt{s}=$ 7 and 8 TeV. |
