Sumario:Studies of simulation methods for off-shell Higgs (H) boson production are presented. Reweighting techniques are applied to samples generated at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD with multiple H boson pole masses in order to approach NLO accuracy for the modeling of off-shell spectra. The predictions are compared to direct event generation at LO in QCD. The simulation methods are found to agree well in distributions inclusive in jet activity. Predictions from reweighting techniques are found to be more stable in bins of jet multiplicity, and different kinematic regions of jet pair activity.
