Sumario: | ALPHA plans to perform accurate temperature diagnostics on positron plasmas by observing beryllium fluorescence during sympathetic cooling. This project includes calculations of solid angle and simulations for aperture positions of the SiPMs, working towards the upgrade of ALPHA’s atom trap. Calculations were also made towards development of the ALPHA-III, towards observation of antihydrogen fluorescence of the 1s − 2p transition. |
