Sumario:Long-lived particles (LLPs) are an important possibility to be aware of when searching for physics beyond the standard model, as there is no a priori reason for any undiscovered particle byond the standard model (BSM) to have such a short lifetime as to decay promptly. However, searching for these particles requires a vast array of creative approaches to target their many different possible signatures across the different portions of the detectors. Here we present eight recent results from the collaborations on the LHC (notably ATLAS and CMS) that target these signatures with benchmark models ranging from supersymmetry (SUSY) to dark-matter-oriented scalar portal models.
