Sumario:The recently approved NA66/AMBER experiment (Apparatus for Meson and Baryon Experimental Research) at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron pursues a broad research program in quantum chromodynamics. It ranges in its first phase from a precision measurement of the proton radius with a 100 GeV muon beam to investigating the quark-gluon structure of mesons in Drell-Yan processes. In a second phase, radio-frequency separated kaon beams will allow to extend such investigations to the strangeness sector.
