Top and antitop pairs as seen in the CMS detector in LHC Run 3

Displays of events in which candidate top and antitop quark pairs are produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV as seen by the CMS detector. These events were selected as part of the first measurement of the top-antitop production cross section at this energy. Cross...

Sumario:Displays of events in which candidate top and antitop quark pairs are produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV as seen by the CMS detector. These events were selected as part of the first measurement of the top-antitop production cross section at this energy. Cross section measurements are shown as a function of center-of-mass energy. Furthermore, a cartoon is provided showing top-antitop production and decay.
