Forward Proton Measurements with ATLAS
The ALFA subdetector is designed to measure the $\rho$-parameter and cross-section of elastic proton-proton interactions by reconstructing the spectrum of the momentum transfer. In 2016, special runs with a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV and $\beta^\star = 2.5$ km were recorded.
