Evaluation of the HGCAL DAQ Throughput and Adequacy of the First Step in the FE-BE Mapping
In this paper, we investigate how robust is the current design in terms of number of links and fibres and if we expect it to provide the necessary throughput for high occupancy events with 200 pileup. Sumario: | In this paper, we investigate how robust is the current design in terms of number of links and fibres and if we expect it to provide the necessary throughput for high occupancy events with 200 pileup. To answer this the number of data links from the geomtry of HGCAL is compared with number of links calculated from generated pseudo-events measurements. Estimations of the number of modules that exceed data links of with probabilties are presented. |
