Feasibility study and \eta' measurement in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions for \eta' \rightarrow \pi^+\pi^-\eta at \sqrt{s} = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector

In this summer student project it was studied if it would be feasible to measure \eta' particles in pp and pPb collisions with a center-of-mass energy of \sqrt{s} = 5.02 TeV. To do so at first a MC simulation of a pp collision with Pythia8 is done and the number of reconstructable \eta' \r...
