Sumario:The Structured Laser Beam (SLB), a low-cast laser, originally used at CERN for ultra-precision alignment, has further potential applications in metrology, interferometry, communication, for optical tweezers and in marking of packaging. Promotion of this technology and equipement is intended to be used on the new 'CERN Venture Connect' platform, planned for launch mid-November 2022. The SLB technology, which has been made available under the CERN Venture Connect programme, can be used by companies or startups.
