Sumario: | Recent results of searches for heavy resonances decaying to third generation quarks are presented. The searches use proton-proton collision data with a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected during LHC Run-2 with the CMS experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $138~\text{fb}^{-1}$. A variety of jet tagging techniques is used to identify boosted particles, exploiting jet substructure and novel machine-learning based algorithms. No significant deviations from the Standard Model predictions have been observed and stringent exclusion limits on new physics models have been set. |
