Sumario:CBI A3 aims to empower students with the mindset and skills to be change makers, imagining and realizing futures that respect humans and the ecological systems we exist in. For two weeks, their objective was to connect CERN technology and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular with ATTRACT EU technologies. To understand better these goals, and to be able to connect CERN technology with societal needs in a tangible way, they had the chance to visit the United Nations headquarters, and to talk with experts. The idea behind this project including students from inno.space - Design Factory Mannheim (Germany), Pace University - Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems (USA), Pratt Institute (USA), Politechnika Warszawska (Poland), and Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), is to created a space where societal, human-driven needs meet research at CERN.
