Sumario:Processes involving the scattering or fusion of the weak vector bosons are extremely interesting for confirming the Standard Model of particle physics or discovering effects beyond it. In this thesis the fusion of vector bosons to photons is investigated using the production of two photons and two jets in scattering processes at the Large Hadron Collider. Criteria are to be found which will make a measurement sensitive to vector boson fusion. By simulating the corresponding processes, such criteria are optimized in this thesis, which ultimately leads to an expected statistical significance of the observation of electroweak production of two photons of around 33σ. Such a measurement is therefore sensitive to the desired process. Furthermore, the influences of systematic uncertainties and different simulations are discussed.
