Sumario:The CERN Accelerator School (CAS) "Advanced Accelerator Physics" course took place from 6 to 18 November in Sevrier, France. The programme covered core lectures on accelerator physics in the mornings and a practical course with hands-on tuition in the afternoons covering RF-measurements, beam instrumentation, and beam optics design. This course was about advanced and contemporary concepts, knowledge of classical mechanics, electrodynamics, as well as mathematics for physics or engineering. In general, CAS holds training courses on accelerator physics and associated technologies at different levels for physicists, engineers, technicians and students. These courses take place in different member states of CERN and consist of a programme of lectures and tutorials spread over a period of one to two weeks.
