Sumario:The large production cross-sections of W and Z bosons at hadron colliders offer unique opportunities to search for their rare decays. W/Z boson rare decay can be used to test the Standard Model(SM) and probe for physics beyond SM, and provide stringent tests of the quantum chromodynamics(QCD) factorization formalism. Predictions of their branching fractions using the QCD factorization range from $10^{-6}$ to $10^{-12}$. A search for the rare decays $W^{+}→D^{+}_{s} \gamma$ and $Z→D^{0} \gamma$ is performed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fb^{-1}. No significant signal is observed for either decay mode and upper limits on their branching fractions are set.
