Sumario: | An accurate determination of the geometry of the inner tracking system of the CMS experiment, which comprises Silicon Pixel and Silicon Strip detectors, is of vital importance for a precise measurement of the momentum of charged particles and reconstruction of primary and secondary vertices. The process of determining the geometry parameters of the inner tracking system is called tracker alignment. In this report, the strategies for and the performance of the CMS tracker alignment during the year 2022 (first year of data taking of the LHC Run 3 period) are described. The results enclose the comparison of the performance of the tracker detector alignment for the mid-year and end-of-year re-reconstruction to the one of the alignment and calibration used during data-taking, for the full dataset collected by CMS during the year, corresponding to a delivered integrated luminosity of about 41.5 fb$^{-1}$. |
