Visit of US representatives of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Elementary Particle Physics: Progress and Promise (EPP-2024)

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Elementary Particle Physics: Progress and Promise (EPP-2024) hosted a Town Hall from 14 to 15 February to hear from the US scientific community at CERN. The Town Hall was composed of two sessions: an session focusing on the US Early-Career Particle Physics Community at CERN and a general session for all US CERN Particle Physics Community Members. The EPP-2024 committee recognizes that in order for elementary particle physics to thrive, the field must engage the next generation of scientists. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee on Elementary Particle Physics is sponsored by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) and Department of Energy (DOE).
