Sumario:The process of Vector Boson Scattering of two longitudinally polarized vector bosons is deeply linked to the relationship of gauge invariance and the mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking, since without a Higgs boson, the predicted cross section would violate unitarity. At the current version of Sherpa 2.2.13, Sherpa is not capable of simulating the polarization of vector bosons. However, a currently unpublished version of Sherpa can be used to generate these processes in the future. For the fully leptonic WZ channel, polarized samples are generated and compared with reference data for a center of mass energy √s = 13 TeV. Considering the total cross sections as well as the distributions of the differential cross sections, a good agreement is achieved. Furthermore, the generated events are compared with official Atlas Monte Carlo samples generated with MadGraph.
