Sumario: | <!--HTML--><p>Since 2015, CMS is collecting events with at least two muons through a set of loose-selection, high-rate trigger, defining the DiMuon Scouting stream.<br>Following the dijet scouting, established in CMS already in 2011, the dimuon scouting stream has been exploited to search for new physics as well as to study rare decays of standard model particles.<br>In this seminar, we review the design of the dimuon scouting stream and present recent results based on it: a search for a light dark photon decaying to two muons and a search for η->4μ decays.</p><p><span><strong>Refreshments will be served at 10:30</strong></span></p> |
