description | The Crowd4SDG Final Conference is a wrap! After morning sessions at the Globe of Science and Innovation, demonstrating the potential of citizen science for monitoring SDGs, Crowd4SDG's finalists presented their brilliant projects to a big physical and online audience. In the afternoon, participants were at IdeaSquare to take part in hackathon on using citizen science tools and how they can be used beyond the Crowd4SDG project. They formed groups to reflect on the three following topics: - Future Citizen Debates: Envisioning, designing and creating open deliberation processes - Using crowdsourcing tools and digital currencies to transform public participation in climate resilience research - Leveraging citizen science for data-driven policies on sustainable development The energy and enthusiasm from the events held here this week is palpable - from hosting the students from the finalist teams, the Geneva trialogue and the Crowd4SDG Final Conference. https://indico.cern.ch/event/1224762/ |
