Sumario: | OPER.ATTRACT collision week! Students were given cards with challenges to innovate from an ATTRACT technology. They developed projects aiming at using these technologies in different fields: - detecting endometrial pathologies - creating Advanced Superconducting Single Photon Detectors and TCSPC modules - monitoring gas parameters in the distribution network of biogas - working on the development ASIC with a full system of random bit generator - creating drone-based odour monitoring They had the opportunity to discuss their ideas with CERN scientists during "curious breakfasts" throughout the week and to present their learnings on their last day. They also had the chance to participate in sessions with John Wood, advisor to the European Commission, CERN, and who has been majorly involved in the ATTRACT program. |
