Quantum Workshop for High School Students

The first-of-its-kind quantum workshop for high school students took place in the CERN Council Chamber. The event was organised by the CERN Quantum Technology Initiative in close collaboration with the QPlayLearn platform to mark the second anniversary of World Quantum Day. 30 highly motivated and enthusiastic students aged between 15- and 18 years old studying in Geneva and the surrounding area attended the workshop. During the half-day event, they were introduced to the basic concepts of quantum mechanics and got an insight into how quantum technologies work.
