Digital Skills for a Changing World: Transferring Learnings from CERN (Geneva Innovation Movement event)

Members of IdeaSquare's team had the pleasure to participate in the Digital Skills for a Changing World event, to talk about how we can transfer CERN's approach to tackle the SDGs. Today, one of the biggest challenges for organisations is how to embrace digitalization not only by tech experts but across all levels of the organisation. This requires collaboration between professional silos, especially when addressing complex problems in a fast-changing world. Seeking new ideas for how to address this issue, a cross-sectoral group came together at CERN’s IdeaSquare in January 2023 to participate in a hands-on pilot digital skills workshop, organized by the Geneva Innovation Movement in cooperation with IdeaSquare! The aim was to explore how to collaborate across professional silos in a digital world when addressing complex problems such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
