The study of their production and interaction is crucial to improve our understanding of the Standard Model, and can possibly open a window on new physics. At the same time, top quarks provide an ubiquitous background to Higgs studies and new-physics searches. We review recent theoretical progress in precision computations of top-quark production and related processes and present new results for ttH and ttW production at next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD.</p> |
