Sumario: | The identification of boosted hadronic decays of $W$ boson is important for a broad range of ATLAS physics analyses. This note presents the performance of constituent-based $W$ taggers using large radius jets reconstructed with jet input objects from different ATLAS sub-systems in simulated collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV. Four taggers which consider the full kinematic information of the jet constituents are tested. For a $W$ boson signal efficiency of 0.5 (0.8), the tagger with the strongest performance is found to have a multi-jet background rejection of about 1.8--2.8 (1.6--2.7) times better than the current tagger used by the ATLAS Collaboration. |
