Madgraph5_aMC@NLO hardware acceleration hackathon

It's hackathon time again at IdeaSquare! Developers creating software for the LHC simulation chain are porting one of the MC particle generator software packages onto GPUs. They work for a week away from their offices to fully concentrate on this very specific task. When the building is not in full use, IdeaSquare can offer access to its open work areas, rapid prototyping facilities and its meeting rooms to the CERN community for short, deadline-driven challenge events, such as innovation events, workshops, and hackathons.
