ATLAS Event Display: Production of a W boson, Z boson and photon (WZy)

Sumario: | Display of a candidate triboson WZγ event (run=351160, event=668433028) from proton-proton collisions recorded by ATLAS in 2018 with LHC stable beams at a collision energy of 13 TeV. The candidate event is reconstructed in the eeμγ final state. In the top left (x-y projection) and bottom (z-y projection) displays, the red line shows the path of the muon, the green lines show the paths of the electrons, and the white dashed line in the x-y projection indicates the missing transverse energy. Green and yellow bars represent energy deposits in the liquid argon and scintillating-tile calorimeters, respectively. The photon deposits its energy in the electromagnetic endcap calorimeter, visible in z-y projection but not in x-y. The lego plot on the right represents transverse momenta of the reconstructed muon, electrons, and photon objects, together with the energy deposits in calorimeters. The invariant mass of the di-electron system is 91.6 GeV, while the transverse mass of the muon and the missing transverse energy object is 51.6 GeV. |
