description In this note the results of validation of the CMS full simulation software for Run3 are presented. Run2 legacy version of Geant4 is 10.4.p03 for the CMS full simulation production. For the start of Run3 CMS uses the version Geant4 10.7.p02. Now CMS adopted Geant4.11.1.p01 for Run3 MC production in 2024. The validation is performed using test beam data and Run2 detector data. The test beam data provide measurements of energy response of the combined ECAL + HCAL calorimeter as well as resolution for well identified charged hadrons over a large energy region. The low pile-up collision data from 2016 run of the Large Hadron Collider are used for isolated charged particles analysis, hadrons are measured simultaneously in the tracker as well as in the calorimeters. These events are selected using dedicated triggers and are used to measure the response in the calorimeter. Different versions of Geant4 (10.4.p03, 10.7.p02, 11.1.p01) have been used for the current study.
