Sumario: | New narrow resonances are a generic signature of models of new phenomena beyond the Standard Model. The clean signatures of the final states composed of two photons or a Z boson and a photon provide sensitivity to a wide class of such signals, in particular axion-like particles (ALPs) and Higgs-like scalar particles. The results of several such searches by the ATLAS experiment are presented for masses both above and below that of the Higgs bosons using the full Run 2 pp collision dataset collected at 13 TeV. |
