Sumario: | Experimental determination of diboson processes in proton-proton collisions at the center-of-mass energies accessible at the Large Hadron Collider provides access to the self-couplings among gauge vector bosons predicted by the electroweak sector of the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics, as well as information about the inner structure of the proton. Tests on polarization modes of these can also be performed, allowing further test to angular-sensitive anomalous effects on the SM predictions. At high precision, differential cross-section measurements are an important test of perturbative corrections in powers of the strong coupling $\alpha_s$ in quantum chromodynamics and weak coupling $\alpha_W$ in the electroweak unification driving the fixed-order theory predictions, as well as resummation schemes of Sudakov logarithms. Precise predictions of diboson processes are crucial as background estimates in other SM precision measurements and beyond SM searches. In these proceedings, three different measurements of diboson processes in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector are presented: precision measurements of differential cross-sections of $W^+W^-$ (ATLAS-CONF-2023-012) and $Z\gamma+$~jets (arXiv:2212.07184), as well as polarization fractions and angular differential cross-sections of joint $WZ$ final states as well as individual massive gauge vector bosons (arXiv:2211.09435). |
