description During my eight week stay at CERN, I have worked on a project called the radio frequency python toolbox. The goal of this project was to create a collection of python codes that are generalised, easy to use and consistent. The codes are used for impedance calculations and the post-processing of data by the people at the radio frequency and beam section at CERN. I have cleaned up and generalised existing codes and made them simpler for anyone to use. This way people can quickly use the codes, understand each other's codes and the same code will not have to be written and rewritten over and over again. The toolbox can be found on Gitlab [2]. This report will give some theoretical background explaining what the codes are used for and will then go into the rewritten codes and how they work.
