Sumario:This report summarizes my experience during my Summer Student Programme. I worked on the calibration of the FBG sensors for the GE2/1 detectors and a temperature measurement of one GE2/1 detector in different working status. These GEM type detectors will be installed on the so called Yoke Endcap 1 (YE1) of the endcap region of Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment of Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
