HiLumi Welcome Day, the October edition

The fourth edition of the HiLumi Welcome 1/2 Day took place on Tuesday 10 October. It started with an introduction to the project by Oliver Brüning, HL-LHC Project Leader, followed by a general presentation on the project tools by Héctor Garcia Gavela, HL-LHC Procurement, Documentation Quality & Risk Officer. The newcomers visited SMI2 and the Main Workshop, and then gathered for a welcome drink at R2. From 2017 the project organizes three times a year half a day welcome for new comers. In general a HiLumi Welcome Day begins with an introduction to the project by the Project Leader, followed by a general presentation on tools for the project and two visits and a welcome drink to help the new people integrating and getting acquainted with other aspects and people working on HiLumi.
